BYOC!! Bring Your Own Crazy!!

My BYOC partner in crime - Drazil - does BYOC on Friday.  I used to.  Then, I got this job that required me to leave for work before I could read Draz's BYOC post....so I started doing BYOC on Saturday.  And that's what I'm a doing today!!

It's simple.  I answer questions that Draz came up with, then you read them, then you copy them on to your own blog and answer the questions yourself.  It's fun.  It's simple.  So, here goes...

1. What’s your most favorite noise and your least favorite noise?
My most favorite noise is the sound of complete silence first thing in the morning.  When I'm up at 4am, while the rest of my house is still asleep - including the dog and the rabbit - there's just something about the sound of pure nothingness.  It's calming, soothing, and my most favorite time of the day.

My least favorite noise?  Well, the obvious would be noises like farting....but with three kids in the house, farting is a noise I often hear - followed by the giggles and laughter and sometimes the declaration "Momma, I farted!"  Ahhh, isn't it wonderful being a mother?  It's kind of like living by train tracks or an airport - eventually you just get used to the noise.

If I had to pick a noise I dislike the most - I'd have to go with hearing people eat.  It grosses me out...seriously.  If I hear a person slurping or chewing with their mouths open - I want to walk across the room and smack them.

2. If you were a character in the movie Grease – who would you be?
Hmm, this is a tough one.  My first instinct would be to say Good Sandy.  Innocent, sweet, a little on the naive side.  Then I hear this enormous eruption of laughter coming from my own head.  That's not very nice, head!  My head disagrees and yells "Rizzo".  Yeah, I guess I can see that.  I've got a bit of Rizzo inside of me.  I can definitely produce a mean streak - but it's usually stemmed from when I'm misunderstood...and I'm pretty cool when you really get to know me.

3. What was the name of your best friend in elementary school? Are you still friends?
The girl I was best friends with in elementary was named Elizabeth.  Being that I now live in a different country - we are no longer friends.  I haven't spoken to her or seen her since I was 11.

Once I moved to the States, I had the most amazing best friend.  We spent all of our time together.  We were still friends after we left school - and then she was killed in a car wreck when I was 20.  It was a devastating blow - and the only time I had ever lost someone so close that wasn't family.

I don't really have any contact with anyone I went to school with, now.  There's one person that I was pretty close to in school - and he and I talk occasionally.  We even worked together a few years ago, and that was nice.  Other than that, I have a zillion friends on Facebook that I went to school with - but I don't talk to any of them.  Sad, isn't it?

4. Who is your current celebrity crush?

My current celebrity crush is none other than the super sexy Alexandar Skarsgard.  Actually, it's more like his character on True Blood:  Eric Northman.  Alexander is cute - but there's something about him when he's portraying a vampire that makes my heart skip a beat.  I mean, he is pure delicious skrumptiousness...

Look at that sexy face - pale skin and red bags under his eyes.  Yummy!!!

5. Repeat question: How was your week in real life and in blog land?
Real life was good... with some minor blows here and there.  Finding out that Butter still wasn't getting discharged was a blow.  I was really looking forward to having him home - but I know that I can't rush these things...and have to do what's best for him.

Peanut's problems in school was another blow - getting it resolved by yanking her out of her school and putting her in a new school was a win.  She starts Monday, and she's excited...very excited.  I think her excitement stems more from relief than it does anything else.  She wants a fresh start and more opportunities...she will get both, now.

My job is going GREAT!!  I love everything about it - and  I'm really holding on to the belief that this time next year, I'll be in my own classroom.  I couldn't work with a better bunch of people - and I have truly been blessed.

Blog Land was OK.  I got booted off to Exile Island in Shrinkvivor.  It was my own fault - I expected it after a 1.6lb gain.

My confessions were tough - I had to get all sentimental, and reach down in to a dark place... but I was much happier once it was all out in the open.

I enjoyed writing yesterday's random post...well, most of my posts are random - but I really enjoyed yesterday's.

Alright, that's it for this week's BYOC.  If you haven't already done it - copy these questions, answer them on your blog, and let me know....I love reading random stuff about people that follow my blog.

Everyone enjoy your Saturday!!

Till next time. ;)
